See every plant.
Before it
surprises you.

A patented sensor and cloud platform watching flow, temperature, pressure, and methane concentration in real time. Plant owners and operators see efficiency, savings, and the recommendations that move the needle. Unmonitored biogas plants in India run at 15–20% efficiency. Ours go further.

The signature surface

Four sensors. One honest picture.

Every BioSarthi-monitored plant runs the same patented sensor stack: flow, temperature, pressure, methane concentration. Self-sustainable, solar-powered, cellular IoT. Computed in the cloud into efficiency, savings, and the recommendations that move the needle.

Patent No. 550208 (filed 07 Sep 2023, granted 13 Sep 2024 by IPO India) covers the sensor architecture and the analytics pipeline. Application no. 202311060202.

CH₄ · methane concentration
The single number that reflects digester health and dictates the kitchen-fuel value of the gas.
Flow · gas production
Volume produced over time. The basis for every yield, savings, and LPG-equivalent number we compute.
P · gas-line pressure
Watched at the manifold. Drops are leaks, blockages, or downstream demand falling — each handled differently.
°C · digester temperature
Mesophilic window. Drift gets flagged before yield does — the earliest mover of the four.
IoT · solar-powered cellular
Self-sustainable. No site power dependency, no wired network. Works at remote village plants.
Σ · efficiency, savings, insights
The four streams compute into plant efficiency, fuel savings, and the recommendations the operator actually acts on.
How it works

Sensors to alerts, in four stages.

A monitoring rollout is mostly invisible. The plant keeps running. We add the layer underneath that turns it into something legible to people who are not standing on top of the digester.

M.01
Sensor install
Patented multi-parameter probes — flow, temperature, pressure, methane — on the digester and gas line. 2 days on site.
M.02
Cloud ingest
Edge gateway pushes encrypted telemetry over 4G. 30s cadence. Live in 24 hours.
M.03
Baseline + analytics
14-day learning window per plant. Recommendations are computed against your operating baseline, not a generic one.
M.04
Alerts route
WhatsApp, SMS, email, Slack. Each alert names the recommended action.
What's measured

A complete picture, one tile each.

Each tile is a live telemetry surface. Operators see normal and abnormal in the same glance. Owners see a fleet's worth on a phone.

T.01
Gas flow
m³ / day
Volume of biogas produced. The basis for the LPG-equivalent and savings figures the dashboard reports back.
T.02
Methane concentration
CH₄ %
The single number that reflects digester health and the kitchen-fuel value of the gas.
T.03
Digester temperature
°C
Mesophilic window. Outside it, yield collapses; drift is flagged before yield does.
T.04
Gas-line pressure
mbar
Watched at the manifold. Drops are leaks, blockages, or downstream demand falling — each handled differently.
T.05
Plant efficiency
computed
Yield against feedstock potential. Brahma Kumari Om Shanti Retreat Centre, Bilaspur went from 28% to 55% in 40 days on this number.
T.06
LPG-equivalent savings
cylinders / mo
Biogas usage converted into commercial-LPG cylinders displaced. Bilaspur logged 60 cylinders in 40 days.

Audit-ready by default.

The monitoring layer is not a black box. Telemetry is exportable, compliance-ready, and integrates with the systems your operations and finance teams already run. Patent No. 550208 (granted 13 Sep 2024 by IPO India) covers the sensor-network architecture and the analytics pipeline.

In their words

Voices from live plants.

"BioSarthi team has automated 5 plants under GOBARdhan in Bhopal district. This is a very effective tool for us to monitor the status of the plant and its operations without spending precious time of the team. The report showing the impact made by these plants is a great way to showcase the effort undertaken by the team on the ground."
Shri Rituraj Singh, IAS
CEO, Zila Panchayat, Bhopal
"Plant efficiency went from 28% to 55% in 40 days, driven by the data-driven recommendations. Biogas usage from the plant over those 40 days was equivalent to 60 commercial LPG cylinders. Our target is now to bring LPG cylinder usage down to 25 a month, then 10."

Frequently asked

Things owners ask first.

No. Sensors are surface-mounted on the digester and gas line. We do not enter the digester. Install typically takes two days; plant operations continue.
You do. Telemetry is yours, exportable any time as CSV or via API. End of engagement triggers a full data export.
The edge gateway buffers telemetry locally and backfills when connectivity returns, so the historical record stays continuous. Operators see a freshness indicator on the dashboard, so a gap is never invisible.
Yes. The sensor stack is designed to retrofit plants of various ages without civil work. We use hardened mounts and adapters that work alongside existing instrumentation.
REST API, webhooks, and CSV export are available. WhatsApp, SMS, and email on the alerts side. Custom integrations for ERP and accounting systems can be scoped per deployment.
Patent No. 550208 (granted 13 Sep 2024 by IPO India, application no. 202311060202) covers the sensor-network architecture and the analytics pipeline — flow, temperature, pressure, methane concentration, married to a self-sustainable solar-powered cellular IoT layer.
